I have been working at Grays Harbor College for fifteen years, seven as the carpentry instructor assistant and now as a mechanic II in the maintenance department. This is my 3rd term on the STTACC Board as I was the President-Elect last year and President before that. I also serve on different committees on campus one being the acting past president of our staff training and development committee.
I have been married to my wife (Karen) for 24 years. We have a 15 year old daughter (Kacy) who is in the 10th grade at Aberdeen High School. Some of my hobbies are boating, (especially on Puget Sound), hiking, and skiing. My daughter and I have performed in Grays Harbor Colleges musicals the last four years. I am glad to be serving on the STTACC Executive Board again this year.

I have been Program Coordinator for Allied Health at Wenatchee Valley College at Omak since December, 1999. I support and assist the students, faculty, and administrators of the Allied Health departments and am "office manager" of the Allied Health Facilities in Omak. I am also secretary of the WVC Nurse Faculty Organization.
I am currently a member of the WVC Classified Staff Training Committee (my third 'tour of duty'). I have served as STTACC Executive Board Secretary for two years and am currently President Elect. I'm looking forward to a very rewarding and busy year, both serving on the board and helping to coordinate the 2008 Annual Conference in Wenatchee.
When I'm not wearing my WVC hat, I'm the wife of Lee, a sixth-grade teacher; the mother of Nick, a twenty-two-year-old cowboy, and the step-mother of Brandon (and his wife, Kelly!), a twenty-five-year-old elementary PE teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking/baking and reading.

I am a native Texan and moved to Seattle 2001. I started working at Seattle Central C.C. January 2002. I am an Administrative Assistant B to the Vice President of Student Development Services. Once I knew my way around on campus, I found out that Classified Staff use to have a Classified Development Advisory Committee, but it was no longer active. With the help of fellow colleagues we started it back up and successfully had 135+ attend the first break away and 100 + the following year. Since then I attended STTACC conferences and this is my second year as Coordinator for District B. I hope to continue representing District B or serving STTACC Executive Board where needed.
I am married to Marty for over 20 years. My daughter, Christina is a junior at the University of Texas. My son, Ronnie works for The City of Lubbock as a Computer Operations Supervisor, his wife Amanda is a full time student seeking a Masters degree at Texas Tech and I'm a proud Nana to Brienna who recently turned one years old. I enjoy time with friends & family, sewing, and various crafts.

I've been married for 29 years to Ricardo, we have two daughters, Rebecca (25) who lives in Seattle, and Rachel (22) is a student at Central WA University.

I have been working at Grays Harbor College since 2001. I manage the computer labs on campus as well as teach various computer classes. I host a number of websites in my spare time. (More as a hobby not as a career move.) When asked if I would be willing to volunteer for the STTACC webmaster position I was happy to offer my services for such a worthy cause.
At home I have a lovely wife and two boys, ages 5 and 12, that keep me on my toes and prevent me from turning into a complete computer nerd.

My oldest son is a Major in the US Army, and my younger son also wears a uniform-the brown of a UPS driver.

Hello! I work for Spokane Falls Community College. I work in Student Services as a Credentials Evaluator. I have been involved with the Community Colleges of Spokane Classified Staff Training and Development Committee for about five years now and I am currently the Chair for that committee. I was the STTACC Rapper Reporter for the Community Colleges of Spokane for about three years, that is how I first became involved with STTACC. I am very dedicated to improving training opportunities for all classified staff. I am very busy in my personal life as well. I am married and have five children. Two of my own children their ages are 23 and 21 and three step children they are 16, 15, and 14. They keep me very busy with football, basketball, cheerleading and because they are teenagers and young adults there's always lots of drama! My husband, Stephen, and I also have our own business designing and manufacturing iron gates and fencing. In my spare time I enjoy scrapbooking and reading and because I am hearing impaired I am learning sign language. I am very excited to be a part of the STTACC team!

Hi! My name is Cindy Cannella and I began my Pierce College life in the Finance dept in June of 1990 in a 3- month temporary position, which ended in November of 1999 when I became a classified employee in Accounts Payable. Sad to say but I never even heard of STTACC the whole time I worked as a part time employee and it was not until I was elected to our Classified Staff Training Committee in 2002 that I really became aware of the organization. This is my 3rd year as the Chair of our committee and my 2nd as a region coordinator. And I am pleased to announce that Pierce College will host the 2007 STTACC Conference at our Puyallup Campus.
On the home front, my husband and I recently celebrated our 27th anniversary. We have 3 grown children (2 daughters and a son) and 3 (come Dec 3rd if he’s on time) grandsons. One for each. My husband retired from the Postal Service as a Postmaster in January. He told me another 20 years and I can retire too, (hmm I don’t think so), so I put him to work here at Pierce as our temporary Courier. He just “retired” again for the 3rd time.
